This past weekend I took the kids to the pumpkin patch. Over the years I've taken Seren (and then John) to a ton of different ones around town. We've been to ones where we cut the pumpkins straight from the vine, and we've been to ones where there are educational tours. We've been through hay and corn mazes, all of which the kiddos love. However, we tend to like the one on the corner of Shaw and Blackstone best. The kids like the hay maze, bouncy houses and pony rides. It's like a mini carnival. This year we even walked away with a sno-cone! Only in California! ;)
Here are some of our pictures.
The poor kids had the sun in their eyes, so I'm sure they were thinking, "Hurry up and take the picture!" ;)
I really like this picture of John.
On the way to the corn maze.
At the beginning of the maze. John ended up finding our way out!
On the pirate ship bouncy house. John and Seren LOVED this thing!
John on the pony. He rode last year too, but this year he was on it all by himself, like a big boy!
Seren on the pony. :)
My family!
We left the pumpkin patch tired and sweaty. The above picture was taken right before we left and you can tell John was done. We left with 14 mini pumpkins (for John's party), 2 small pumpkins and 2 big ones. We're going to have a blast carving them this weekend! :)
